Fabulous little cafe, full of life, people and dogs. Was served almost straight away with a lovely greeting and menus. Just wanted a cake and cup of tea to take out and wasn't disappointed, good big takeaway mug of strong tea and a huge cherry bakewell cake. Would highly recommend this little goldmine. So nice to have such friendly staff and such a lovely clean place to order and eat. Nothing was to much trouble at all.

Popped into this lovely cafe as the reviews were excellent and I have to agree. We were going to return for lunch later but couldn't make it before 2pm. We will visit again for lunch when we're in the area and plan our day around it.

A warm welcome in this village cafe - not your city centre slick place, but basic wholesome fare at a reasonable price. The premises are loosely themed around the local Pendle Witches legends but this is not intrusive. They are also extremely pet friendly, with dog snacks and water available while you’re eating. This is an excellent place to start a walk around the local countryside (but don’t aim to finish here as it closes early at 2pm). The menu is varied; and I’d like to say basic except there’s an additional crepe menu with slightly more continental. There’s also a good take away menu which supplies the village workforce. This was a good find and certainly somewhere to return: I will!!
